How does the impression kit work?

Our impression kit contains a skin-friendly modeling clay that allows you to create multiple impressions. Detailed instructions are included. Get inspired by the different possibilities HERE !

What can be pressed?

In principle, an impression can be taken of anything that has sufficient texture. The classics are animal noses, animal paws, fur, fingerprints, and baby feet. Or a horse, tortoise, hamster feet...?

How many impressions do I need to make?

Even if you only need one or two impressions for your piece of jewelry, feel free to make several! We'll then choose the best one.

What if the result of the impression isn't good?

The set contains enough material for at least three impressions. So you can make a test impression first. If you're unsure, you can order extra containers of modeling clay from the shop .

Can I combine multiple impressions?

Yes! In the shop you can choose between a single-sided or double-sided print. Select the "double-sided" option if you want a print on both the front and back.

Is the impression material suitable for babies, children and animals?

Yes, the impression material consists of skin-friendly modeling clay and is also suitable for sensitive skin, animals and babies.

How do you make a good impression in silicone?

Inside the packaging you'll find a 4-step guide that guarantees your impression will work perfectly! Please read the instructions carefully and follow each step!

What do I do if I don't have enough modeling clay for the impression?

The set includes enough silicone material for at least 3 impressions. If you'd like to make more impressions, you can order extra containers of modeling clay from the shop .

How long do you have to make the impression in silicone?

Thoroughly mix the modeling clay, place it on the plate, and take the impression. Work quickly – the silicone hardens after about 40 seconds! Our tip: the hardening time will be longer if the silicone was previously refrigerated.

Questions about the piece of jewelry

How do I care for my jewelry?

To keep silver and gold jewelry in good condition, it should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth to prevent tarnishing. Store it in a dry place and avoid contact with chemicals, creams, perfumes, or cleaning agents.

Why does silver jewelry tarnish?

Silver jewelry can tarnish when it comes into contact with air and moisture. This happens because silver reacts with the sulfur compounds in the air – a process called oxidation. This is a completely normal reaction of the metal and therefore not a sign of diminished quality. Regular wear, cleaning, and proper storage can help minimize this process. With gold, this doesn't happen as quickly, and the higher the alloy (karat), the longer the jewelry stays beautiful! This is one of the reasons why gold is so much more valuable and expensive than silver.

Can I wear my jewelry in the water?

Yes, BUT: It's best to remove your jewelry before swimming or showering, as chlorine and salt water can damage the metal and accelerate tarnishing. The term "water-resistant" definitely applies to precious metals. However, proper care also includes avoiding contact as much as possible.

Yes! With the "Impression Set | as a Gift" option, we'll send an impression set including an order form to the address of your choice – no configuration required! This way, the recipient can decide for themselves what their new favorite piece of jewelry should look like.

How long will it take until I receive the finished piece of jewelry?

After receiving the impression, production takes 10-14 days.

Can I have the piece of jewelry engraved?

Yes, with the "one-sided imprint " option, you can choose which letters you want to use to personalize your jewelry after receiving your set.

Do I have to pay the postage myself?

No! Shipping within Germany is free!
If you return the finished prints to us in the original packaging, the postage is already paid. Simply affix the enclosed return label, take the package to the post office (DHL), and drop it off. If no return label is included in the set, you can request one using the QR code on the inside of the lid.

Shipping to EU countries?

We ship our parcels within the EU. We charge shipping costs for this.

Are exchanges and returns possible?

Each piece of jewelry is a unique, handcrafted item, made especially for you. Due to the personalization with your imprint, it is unfortunately not possible to exchange or return your ordered piece.
